What is Poney?
Poney is the best scheduling app on the planet. We make it super easy to spend more time with your real friends in real life. Say goodbye to the hassle of a million text messages to organize something — we make that process painless. Poney empowers you to plan, schedule, and enjoy a night out with friends, your weekly league, your big weekend out, your kids' sports, or anything you enjoy. A couple buddies or a group of friends — no problem.
When you're playing five times more pickleball because Poney made scheduling so easy... When you're having a beer with a buddy who lives 10 miles away but it might as well be 10,000 because you can never schedule anything... When you're managing big groups without drowning in WhatsApp chats... You're welcome.
Coming soon, Poney will help you to level up your social schedule, adding a fun competitive layer to your events, with leaderboards, weekly XP points, achievements, badges, bets and more — who doesn't like a little light competition with friends? Secure bragging rights for a weekend or for years.
We here at Poney believe that social media turned out to be more media than social, that the infinite scroll is a toxic waste of time, and that people are really looking for a better way to interact — but we're realistic enough to know that if it doesn't get on the schedule, it's not going to happen. What is the Poney Pilot Program?
The Poney Pilot Program launches Summer 2024 to test our core features and to host our first bespoke promotional events! We are big fans of summertime, and big fans of alliteration, and we think Poney can take this summer to the next level. When you're playing five times as much pickleball this summer because Poney makes scheduling so easy... you're welcome!

What do Poney Bucks do?
Poney Bucks are the virtual currency inside the Poney app experience. Primarily, Poney Bucks are used to fulfill bets with other players inside the app. Eventually, Poney Bucks will be able to be redeemed for digital goods inside the app and real-world value outside the app through contests, partner promotions, redemption exchanges, and more.
Does Poney involve real money?
Poney involves real money only to the extent that players have the option to use real money to purchase Poney Bucks that enable you to place bets with other players in the app. We're more focused on having a good time with our friends IRL rather than worrying about making a couple bucks off them.
Is Poney legal? Specifically, is the betting via Poney legal?
Yes, Poney is 100% legal. All betting inside Poney is done with virtual currency inside the app. Virtual currency (aka, Poney Bucks) can both be earned through different actions inside the app and be purchased with real money in the app via the app stores (currently only Apple's App Store).
All betting is totally optional; if you just want to use the features and enjoy the experience without betting, you are more than welcome on Poney!
How does Poney settle bets?
For all bets powered by Poney, we take a small percentage of the overall pot of virtual bucks, with the majority being split equally among the winners.
How do I contact Poney customer support?
Our Poney Support Team is available to answer any questions and to address any concerns. Email support@letsponey.com and our team will respond as quickly as possible. Please keep in mind that response times may vary depending on the volume of emails and the complexity of the question.
How does Poney handle personal user data?
Poney gathers as little user data as possible and, when we do, we gather it anonymously and use it primarily to optimize your experience while using our platform. We will not ever sell your data to a 3rd party for advertising purposes. We think the world of big social media — where the user and the user's data is the product in the giant advertising algorithm — is exploitative and broken. We are not playing that game. Heck, our intention is to never show a banner or display or instrusive ad on Poney. When we include promotional partners, it will only be if there's a 'win-win' where users benefit.
What does 'Run It Back' mean?
We're trying to make it as quick, easy, and efficient as possible to hangout and have fun with your friends. 'Run It Back' is a feature that enables you to immediately duplicate a bet or event — no need to re-enter the information or the stakes. You can 'run it back' as many times as you want — keep grinding for the win!
What if I have an issue with the outcome of a bet on Poney?
Most of the bets on Poney are fully user-generated — you (or your friends) set the stakes, add in the scores or outcomes, and resolve the bets yourself. Poney is just the platform for you to connect with your friends — we aren't 'the house' setting lines or odds. So, you have the personal responsibility to enter outcomes honestly and trust your friends to do the same — don't be a jerk! Life is too short to cheat your friends.
For the limited number of bets available to the entire community, generated by Poney Chris or Poney Ashley, the outcomes will be public, transparent, and verifiable by outside sources — so you can always fact-check. We aren't here to fake anything. That said, if you still have an issue with an outcome, please contact customer support and we'll see what we can do.
What is coming down the road for Poney?
There is a ton more to come for Poney — we're just getting started. We'll soon have acitivity 'hubs' to organize your various casual and competitive communities — including leaderboards, chat, media sharing, record-keeping, and more. We'll have leaderboards for all sorts of competitions, both locally and globally. There will be more ways for you to bet — handicaps, spreads, double-downs, parlays, teasers, you name it. We'll support more activities with ready-made templates that make scheduling and betting even faster than it already is. Plus, more robust stats-tracking for player and competition history to solidify those bragging rights.
Future Apple Watch integration will track events, scores, and results right on your wrist.
We'll have more ways to redeem Poney Bucks for super-fun content inside the app or IRL prizes via our fantastic promotional partners.
Eventually, we will have league and fantasy management — imagine organizing your weekly IRL league and then running fantasy over top of it — you are your own fantasy player! And, custom social challenges — for example, a 30 Day Fitness Challenge or Dry January — to make keeping your goals fun.
Throughout all of these upcoming features, we want to make YOU and your friends the center of the action.
Who is PiKL Worldwide, the company behind Poney?
PiKL Worldwide is a team of digital veterans who have been around long enough to have survived Y2K and to have played Snake on the Nokia 5150. We have deep industry knowledge of product development, mobile gaming, digital marketing, and online community; we've held senior leadership positions at companies big and small, some with successful exits and some with flame-outs — and we've learned from both.
We want to show there is a better way forward for social media, a way that encourages real world connections and doesn't exploit user data to bombard people with constant display advertising. Additionally, we love pickles and we love the movie Step Brothers (Prestige Worldwide FTW!), hence our name.
